Given that you're in florida / relatively flat, I'd recommend the 4.88's. Most/any offroading there involves mud + throttle, right?

Pretty much hit the nail right on the head. Lol. I get trails when I drive up to arkansas twice a year, but the goal is gas mileage right now. Lots of in town driving

4.88's would be fine with 35's
I would recommend Nitro gears over the Yukons. Nitro uses the 29 spline big pinion, whereas the Yukons still use the 27 spline.
Your stock gear is 27 spline, so you would need to replace the yoke, $30 part. There is also a difference between master install kits for 27spl, and 29spl gears, due to them using a different pinion nut and seal.

Awesome. I was told go for precision gear for best quality, but for price that should work. Any recommendations on where to buy and what to buy with? Never done gears before
