the Rescue Runner build thread

wow sorry for the crappy picture quality (facebook has been really chitting on the image quality of late, even with instagram...) i need to get a new DSLR, and a new copy of lightroom... anyone know if you can buy lightroom still or is a monthly subscription only now?

Let's just say I was made another offer I couldn't refuse... Not quite as good of a deal as I got on my tent or my maxtraxs but still a damn good deal

looks to me like you need some MetalTech4x4 products on this truck... like some upper and lower links for the rear suspension and maybe some sliders(yours look a little beat up)...

got one of the items in yesterday for the truck...

Good to know. Great to go local whenever we can. I'll be focusing on the rear suspension on mine pretty soon. _Nigel_

Nice links. What's the reason for the offset?
Several reasons, first off is a structural reason, with the offset like that there is more surface contact and weld, and it's less likely to hang up on an obstacle, the link acts as a "slider" or part of the armor for large rocks and other things you would be trying to conquer.
