Check out the mpgs I got on our trip today from York, PA to Boston! Very pleased with the truck- the lowest mpgs were near NYC near the GW Bridge which was bottle necked as usual- we got 23 mpgs on that 10-15 mile stretch but the rest was between 24-25!

That's the sweet spot for this vehicle. 70 and above... Forget about it!

And as I found out this past weekend, 85 and above, the Eco light goes away.

Recommended PSI is 32, 40 seems a little high doesn't it? Great gas milage though.

Come to think of it, it was 40 psi when I bought it and I have never changed it. The ride is very
comfortable and the mpgs also work out well

I got 20.7 mpg going 411 miles! Driving at least 70-75 with some 80's thrown in there. One tank from Weatherford, OK to Little Rock. Very happy with the mileage so far....

Yeah, I found that out too! (ECO LIGHT). I have since disabled it. It was just annoying to me.

Is this something that the dealer can do via the OBD II (computer), or did you use another method?

You can turn it off by using the trip button on the gauges. Just scroll thru the options and you will see it.

I went from Long Island to Camelback Mtn. this morning and best I could do was 20.3 @ 65-70. The trip home tonight I did 21.4 @ ~65. We topped off before we left PA wit about 6 gallons and by my own math I got I think 20.8. Not bad I guess. Around 250 miles round trip

Hi Charley- it was regular ethanol gas. While I was definitely pleased with the truck, it also helped that we were travelling at night -so hardly anyone on the road.

Another Trip and good MPG

Continue to be impressed with the 4R. Got good mileage on this recent trip to the mountains in West VA. What a beautiful place! I have never seen anything quite like it. Both my wife and I loved it! Anyway, was doing about 24.1 mpg on the way back. By the end of the trip the MPG was at a 23.1- still not bad at all.
PS- Did see a couple of nice Trail editions in WVA.
