glad you now know now what a Trekker is .. Toyota Trekker .. I'm really trying to bring these things back to life .
She's in "hibernation" now for winter .. and I cant wait till next year .. already working on the new "sign" for the shows , and more importantly .. driving music for my ipod

Did you use Dynamat? that stuff is heavy.

I used a Canadian product off of ebay , "brown" I believe it was called back then , but it does have a new name now .. and this escapes me at the moment . It is not as heavy as dynamat also not as good because it is lighter , but usually you dont "do" the whole body , so I thought with the lighter weight of the fiberglass, this mat would be perfect .
and after now driving it for 2 years , I have absolutly NO complaints .. with the windows up and the sterio off , my trekker is very quiet

"Brown Bread" IIRC. Now Called BQuiet. Reasonable prices, Altho, I Lowe's used Peel & Seal on my Runner.

cleaned , and painted
and moon roof wind deflector
ripped deflector rubber - replaced , and new vibration bumpers .. a little polish .. and just like new again

sun was out , and wanting to change the oil , today was the day ... She didnt really need it , but , what the hell , see deserves it
drained the old stuff , and super surprised .
She has been sitting for 4 months with not turning over the engine once . I figured the oil filter would be empty , as "everyone" says there oil filters empty out . I know, and have known for many years the OE filters have the anti drain valve , but ya here so many stories .
Well i'm here to tell you , in my case , 4 months of sitting , the filter was still FULL ... this is EXACTLY I will never use any other oil filter
well , now with the sun shinin' I'm really wantin' to get her out of the "vault"

If i were you i would have sent it south for the winter....Alabama has very mild winters so it would have been very happy.....:lol:
