My FIRST show and shine ..

I was able to get a few hours of seat time in
VERY happy ..
also filled the tank up with 94 Octane and HUGE differance , no more supercharger ping !! ran flawlessly ....

Friday night was the parade .. what a blast !! People lined the route , while about 800 cars went by .
I felt very proud when people would point and gimmy the "thumbs up" .. little kids were " oohh look at that monster truck" ;D .. very cool !!

Saturday Morn , I arrived a bit late to the show . Turns out my DD/work truck decided to "spit" the starter out of it's place .. The top ear/mount flange broke right off , and the lower bolt had worked it's way almost completly out .. so i had to call a cab to go get the trekker .
when I finally got there , I ended up in obscurity .. although quite a few people were able to view the truck , not nearly the exposure I was hoping for ..

day 2 was a little better , was right on the main street .. lots of exposer ...

First hiway trip .. it's not real far from home , so this was a good thing .. didnt have a good nights sleep , as I was thinking of all sorts of problems .. but alas .. she ran flawlessly

arrived at 9AM and started to set up

Trekker got great acceptance , but again .. most people didnt know what it was , they just thought it was a ~ truck with a canopy !!

thanks .. IDK untill I talked to the owner .. it was a 30th anniversry TA and it was completly fiberglass !! every body panel except the headlamp covers ..

514 km,7 hours 27 mins for one day .. I kind of doubt it ..

but I will be in Kamloops for 2 shows one on the 23rd , and then again on the 6th of Aug .. this would be the closest to you this year ..

also .. got a driving vid finally windows wide open , very hot weekend , so it's kind of noisy !! Sterio works AWESOME

kind of "raced" a Tundra from the lights up the Couquhalla . its about a 7% grade up for a few miles .. my truck on 35's ..and the tundra with stock tires .. I'm real happy , had him up to 120K and I backed off ..

so calculated my fuel economy this evening .. from this last trip , I avereged 24 MPG .. I know the tires throw the speedo off ,and all that stuff .. so I guess I will have to calculate it from a " map" milage .. to get a more accurate # ..

I also noticed some "belt squeel" so I ordered the URD pulley to replace the stock one .. it should add 1-2 lbs of boost as well

Just read through your build thread. Your Trekker looks amazing. I wish you were closer (in Langley, BC) because I'd love to get the rust on my '85 4runner fixed soon.

At the beginning you guys were talking about other conversions other companies did along with Winnebago. Maybe this will shed some light...
