So the original post was asking about preventing theft of external accessories like light bars (very popular theft item around here) yet the thread went to glass breakage sensors and guns. :noidea:
I think for light bars you need to throw a couple tack welds on or use some of those locking bolts to keep them safer. I doubt most thieves would go to the trouble of removing bumpers, winches, sliders, or roof racks unless they had a lot of time to work in a secluded area. Someone who really wants all those things would probably just steal the entire vehicle instead. If you have a rear bumper with a tire carrier I'd also suggest using a locking lug nut as we've had Jeeps get their spares stolen around here too.
