2nd Gen Owners Of The Second Kind: These 4Runner owners suffer the supreme indignity of ignorance, laboring under the belief that there is, in fact, nothing wrong with a 2nd Gen 4Runner. Some are even deluded to the point of believing that their 4-door soccer-mobile is better in some way than a 1st Gen. This is a sad state of affairs, and all righteous 1st Gen 4Runner owners should endeavor to disparage and belittle them at every opportunity in order that they may understand their wickedness and iniquity. Only through the Purification of Mockery may they come to understand the light and grace that is Toplessness. These 4Runner owners can, with work, be Saved.

2nd Gen Owners Of The Third Kind: These evil 4Runner owners know of the inferiority of the 2nd Gen 4Runner, and rather than strive for the righteousness that is Toplessness they wallow in their decadence and iniquity, and they tempt the pure 1st Gen 4Runner owner with their evil abundance of doors and comfortable 3 link suspension. These 4Runner owners are Those Who Must Not Be Suffered. They should be culled from the pack, shunned and cast out, left uncultivated to wither and die on the vine. Only thus can the righteous 1st Gen 4Runner owner be assured of safety from their corruption and un-Toplessness.

I agree that the 1st type can be saved. The first step to salvation is recognizing that u do, in fact, have a problem. The 2nd type can be helped by ur 'Mockery Therapy', although we here recommend a generous dose of 'Swift Kick Therapy' also. As for the 3rd type, they are lost and there is no hope for them. Most of you dirty little first gen guys refuse to accept the fact the the 1st gen 86-89 is basically a 2nd gen in disguise or a pick up with an extra seat squeezed in the back. So which one is really a 4Runner?

Once the top is off, you have what? The cab is still covered. The roll bar would protect very little. For 90% of you, if your 1st gen hasn't rusted to pieces inside and out, it soon will.
