i might pick up a set of these once i go to 315s since i think the red lettering would go great with my thundercloud, black, and red theme...

At $500 a tire you'd have to be pretty serious about tires. $2000 is nearly half of what I bought my entire 4runner for! :boxer: Off road I bet they'd be fun!
it's hard to imagine what life would be like if you judged everything by looks.

Well we found out from 4wheelparts that the tires are not that expensive, its about $230 for a 285 and 260 for a 315... thats not too bad looking at how much tires cost once u get up to these sizes. Once u start to look at all the mods these guys put on their rigs, the tire cost is unsubstantial in a matter of speaking.

Okay well I've made some progress. I'll find out more in the morning but I have a set on standby at the Norcross 4wp. Had to fall short of purchasing because I had to speak with Continental first as I have a sponsorship request that's in their system. Talked with them for a while and the sponsor head was to supposed to review me today, but I sent my media package to the wrong email address and found out just now so its sitting in his inbox ready for review in the morning. I'll let you guys know but it sounds promising

well sounds good but all i can say is if u get these tires through a sponsorship then ill hate u even more bc u get all the goodies for free! im in envy... i get a good amount of items for freeor cheap since i know ppl but not to the extent that u get.

$2000 is more than what i paid for the truck, i would never pay more for tires than what i paid for the vehicle.

Doesn't seem that hard to imagine to me. Most everything is about looks this day and time. If I dont like the way something looks im not even going to give it a chance. I didnt say this is a cheap tire. Ive never seen it in person but I can say that in my opinion they look like a cheap knock off tire. Everytime I look at them I think of plastic.
I totally agree. Those tires are the sh!t in my opinion. I definitely would"ve gotten those but money was tight and I got a great deal on my tires.

yeah i thought they looked pretty sweet too Im not sure id use them for a DD but then again it says they have some kind of acoustic tread to make the noise quiet. So they may be just fine. I cant wait to see one of yall put these on a 3rd gen BTW it also says you can get a free GPS (tomtom) with any purchase of 4 grabber HTS, UHP, & At2 tires too if you order from 4wheel parts let me know if yall need a promo code

The July issue of Petersen's has a review of these tires.
The summary says this.
