Thinking about buying an Icon lift during Black Friday. Any advice...

Finally thinking about upgrading my OEM suspension. The Icon setup has me interested. Here is what I'm looking at...

Front non-long travel...
ICON Coilovers 58610 Standard Travel

Rear piggyback...
1996 - 2002 4Runner 2.5" Diameter Rear Piggyback Reservoir Shock - ICON Vehicle Dynamics

Or rear reserve (just found this)...
ICON 2.5" Remote Reservoir Rear Shock Set, 57800

Aiming to grab these for ~$1700 during the black Friday weekend. Anyone else have these? Any advice on what else I will need to complete a lift with these components. I know I will still need a rear spring and maybe a diff drop. What about bump stops and pan handle? Planning on keeping my 265/75/16 and not upgrading to an aftermarket UCA.

The remote rese's are way better than the piggy backs because the reservoir is out of the way and is less easily damaged when wheelin'.

I am running my Icon/Donahoes at 2.5" with stock UCA and panhard with ome 891 coils in the rear and I really like the setup. I don't think you can go wrong really.

Thanks for the advice guys. So instead of the piggyback I will go with the remotes. Seems like they do the same thing and cost the same.

Any links to good sites to buy the panhand and OEM 891 coils? Also would a diff drop benefit me, bump stops? How much of a lift do these provide anyway? Info on this is hard to find.

What is the cost to rebuild and at what internals?

Sorry for all the noob questions, not the knowledgeable on lifts. Was just going to buy a the SS 1.2 lift but with the 20% discount I can get on these Icons I decided why not.

I had these on my 2004 Tacoma 4x4 and they were amazing. They were still called Donahoe back then but I believe the company is still the same. These are what I'll be going with next time, you won't be disappointed.

I just had a chance to check out your build. Nice one! Nice score on the used ICONS. I would like to go that route but not much out there used. Not totally sure what you mean by et fronts and Lt rears but not looking for long travel in the front and th remote reserve is I'm sure over kill for my rig. In fact I'm considering getting Icons in the front and the SS 1.2 rear lift to keep the budget in check.
