Thinking about the Rubicon Trail... How modded do I need to be?

Hello all,

My friend recently invited me to a Rubicon trail trip coming soon, but I'm wondering. How modded does a t4r need to be in order to make it through that trail?

I have a 2007 Limited t4r with Moog FJC's and 5100's set at 1.75 in the front, with General AT2 265/70/17's. No armor as of yet.

Would I be able to make it as is? Or what things should I look into getting to make it through the trail?

You may make it as is, with all kinds of damage. You really need full skids and sliders, a locker would be very helpful, if not, a winch. Spare parts and prepared to damage the bumpers.

Go through this thread, he has run the Rubicon in his 5th Gen Limited, which is highly modified and fully armored, locked and geared.
