Thinking of Getting FJ Cruiser TRD Wheels

I like the look of the FJ Cruiser TRD wheels. I found some information on them:
* 16" x 7.5".
* 15mm offset.
* 6 x 139.7 bolt pattern.

Would these fit my 07 SR5? Also, what size and width tire would I be able to fit without a lift or trimming, that wouldn't rub?

Any help is greatly appreciated. I tried to search the forum, but couldn't find a lot of info on these wheels.

They'll fit. No worries. You can run a 265/75-16 depending on the type of tire, re. AT, MT, etc.

those will fit a sport as well (so no you don't need 17's) its not the size of the wheel its how its designed to fit over the caliper and all FJ's come with the bigger breaks like sports. those would work just fine.

I was under the impression that the sport need the 17's to clear the calipers , at least thats what was always said on here .

well, the FJ has the same caliper as your sport and these wheels were designed for the FJ, so...

it really has to do with how the wheel back is designed, not the size. For instance, not all 16's will fit SR5's even if they have the correct bolt pattern. There are a few JAOS wheels that won't fit new runners because of the way the back is designed.

It's not that I doubt your knowledge , but it's been beaten to death about 16's not fitting over the calibers . Good to know , I wish I could try a wheel before I would buy a set .

the TRD FJ wheels will look great on all of your 4th gens, they even look great on my current 3rd gen...

...and when i get my 4th gen it will look great on it too!!!

They do look great , but still confirm that they will fit a 4th gen Sport with the bigger brakes, Most other people on boards say it will not work.

other wise I'd love them on my truck which is galactic gray.

Not all 16" rims are created equally.

265/75/16 = 265/70/17 = 265/65/18 = 32" tire.

OK so if I understand this correctly , 16" SR5 rims ould not fit because they are made for smaller disks/cali's because they have the same offset/back space as the sport rims . BUT if the FJ shares the same size cali's / disks but has a different offset / BS they would clear ok ???

What about mounting the TPM's to 16" rims . would that not through things off sine the 16" rims would actually be turning more revolutions ? or maybe because my truck is set up to run 17's that something would not be in alignment to make them register correctly ?

I'm probably way off base in my thinking ( but thats nothing new ) , but trying to understand .

this is incorrect.. se owners or other 4Runners with the larger caliper / rotor setup cannot fit a 16" wheel

You are probably correct now that i looked at the specs...the FJ uses the smaller NON-sport ed. front brakes.

Kinda thought that too , I've got a line on 2 sets of FJ 17" alloys in Ill. so I'll see if that works out.

SR5 never came with the bigger front rotors. GX470 and Sport Editions always had bigger front rotors. Some Limiteds have the bigger rotor as well.

No offense to you or anyone else who has those wheels, but they look too much like the standard 16" 4Runner wheels, which are the worst wheels available on the 4th gen 4Runner.
