Yeah, that is what I thought too but wanted to see in person since I just LOVE Anthracite - Supra owner here and wish I could get an Anthracite supra, too. One day. Black for now.

I looked at stuff up to 200K. There was a 2002 sport Thunder cloud in Overland Park with 167K and I put a deposit on it sight unseen as it was a one owner and was headed to go get it and they called saying they sold it to someone else. I was SO mad, I would've paid more, too. It was listed for $7100. Then another 02 Sport Thunder Cloud popped up in Lenexa and I called on it, had 178K and it was sold within minutes. I even have alerts set up. Anyways, you can check out my crazy story on trying to buy a 4runner for the past few months here. Ended up getting a 15" Trail Premium. Supposed to come in today.

The. exact. dilemma. I had when I was in the market for one last year. Was driving me insane that they were selling so quick. Literally, as soon as a clean one was listed, it would be sold within hours. There's a finite amount of time to contact the seller, and working full time and in school made it hard to do that. I wish I knew about the CL alerts then...

3 months of not finding anything led me to look at ones in Seattle. Found one in the trim/color and bought it sight unseen over the phone. Came to me exactly how it was described. Woot!

Nice Supra build. I'd really like to own one someday.

Paid $9k for an 01 SR5 4WD 1 owner 107k.

I don't even think that's a particularly good deal as I saw a 1 owner black 2000 SR5 Highlander 5MT for $6700. Too bad it was in Minnesota, and I'm in TX. :sad: Don't know if it had rust though.

Anyway, the deal in OP sucks

I feel yeah, the struggle is real. I still want it, there wasn't a drop of surface rust anywhere and I could eat of the bay. By far the best condition Used car I've ever seen.
