Brother-in-law who has a large RV/Motorhome and is immaculate with his vehicles recommended the wash/wax product to me.

At about the same time, my good friend, a pilot, recommended the same!

I bought a gallon and used it and can honestly say that it offers the cleanest and highest high-tech gloss I've ever seen!

They both swear by the long term protection and ease of application as well.

I'm on my first application and so far... so good!

It's a bad idea if that is all you are using. If it is a cleaner than it either has chemical solvents or abrasives to clean. If you use it time after time, it will slowly keeping removing clear coat like polishing does if you don't apply a sealant or a wax (preferably a sealant- lasts longer). Polishing and cleaning should be done only once or twice a year. Each time you do it, you MUST follow with a sealant that truly protects the paint. For really good advise, go to Detailed Image - Premium Auto Detailing and Car Care Products

Do your homework and seek the advise of a professional detailer if you don't believe me.

I used it once! One time! My bro-in-law and the pilot friend and their friends have used the product many times with no harm to the finish.

I'll be the judge if the product is right for my 4Runner.

Professional detailers... good for them! :bravo:

Use it if you want... I simply put it out there for others to look at, possibly use or comment on if they have used it.

For me, I'll continue to use it unless I see any negatives to it or if I read otherwise from trusted friends who also have used it.

...if I may.....climb14er, JohnnyT seemed to be watching out for YOUR best interests here and offering a suggestion, and to help protect YOUR runner, I think your response may be a bit over the top, don't you? maybe a better response would be "I will take that into consideration, thanks for the heads up." or something along those lines, it would make the site much friendlier and more desireable to surf.

Months have passed, the intense heat of the summer and blazing sun here in Colorado... so I will now comment on the results of the product.

Fantastic! The surface paint is flawless, the shine is still immaculate even after downpours and washings.

People have come over to me, including my associates in the trucking and automotive industries... and have remarked that the 4Runner looks absolutely beautiful.

The product works as advertised and recommended by others whom I personally know and trust.
