Those with leather seats

Do any of you guys have cheap seat covers over your leather seats? My friend said if I'm going to cover them up, I should have just got cloth seats. I have somewhat of a dirty job so I keep a blanket on the seats now.

Why get leather just to cover it in "cheap" seat covers or any seat cover for that matter. If you're dirty after your job, just accept the fact that your vehicle will be to. The sooner you can drive around without worrying about your leather seats the better. Honestly we are all allotted a certain amount of "anxiety units" and the less you spend on your seats the better. Its just like a work shirt - keep it prefect until that first stain and then just say **** it. Those are the best shirts because you are now free to worry about things that actually matter.
 
I feel your pain. Although, me and my wife stay fairly clean at our jobs, the kids always seem to drag something in or spill something when I'm not around. I'm thinking of getting covers for the rear seat only when my new one gets here. At the very least I'm going to put thick towels behind and under the kiddy seats. Between the kids being messy and the car seats, the rear seat in my 2008 is ruined and I don't even allow them to eat in there.
 
I love mine, and don't plan on covering them up. They'll stand a little dirt just fine.

So far, I've only worried abt tearing the drivers seat up with the pocket knife in my back pocket as I slide in or out.
 
well if you have the heated/vented seats, kinda defeats the purpose of them.

the biggest issue I see is my fat ass sliding in/out of the seat instead of lifting over the left side bolster.
 
My pug took a wicked deuce (diarrhea) in the back seat of my limited after he scaled the backrest (he was in the hatch).

Wiped it down with a little soap an a cloth now good as new! Find something else to worry about?

Yesterday I ordered a set for the second row as well. Sounds like it may take a couple weeks to get them, but I'll post a picture or two.

I'm an industrial electrician and I work in the oil and gas sector. My commute usually involves miles of dusty lease roads, and you wouldn't believe some of the things I have to crawl through on a daily basis. I wear coveralls, but they don't keep all the dirt off.
I give my leather, and the rest interior for that matter, a thorough once over with Amorall every time I wash it; orange cleaner, leather protectant, and original protectant for all the plastic bits. 2 years on, and my interior still looks new, despite my dirty job.
