Those with the S&B Intake: Box plug or no box plug?

I'll be installing the S&B intake (hopefully) this weekend on my '19 ORP and am planning on leaving the box plug off. When I ran the deck plate mod on my 2nd gen T4R airbox, I had some screen material over the opening to keep the "chunkies" out. For those that left the box plug off, have you had anything get in the airbox (yes, other than water) worth worrying about?
