Thoughts on Pricing - 2015 Trail Premium

Ok so I'm getting close to taking the leap from my 2012 Tacoma and trading it in for a 2015 Trail Premium.

I've done a ton of research on availability, pricing, etc and believe I found a pretty good deal. Just want to run it by all of you with experience of actually buying one.

MSRP is $42,069. Its higher than what i wanted, but its hard to find one in Gray close by.

The dealer is giving me a purchase price of $38,900. Thats roughly a 7% discount from MSRP.

I'd be curious to hear all of your opinions, good, bad or indifferent.

Got 15 trail premium with Kdss. Sticker was 41,115. Got it for 37,648.

I shot for 9% when buying my 2013 SR5 4x4 Base... and got it, so I would shoot for a little bit more and if they don't budge decided how much you want it.

I get the same crap from my users that ask how do i reset my login password every day. not like i have time to explain how to click the button that says change password on the login page out of my busy 50-60 hour work week.

i imagine you get the same crap from people you deal with on a daily basis along the same lines.

1engineer you are spot on my friend. First half of the year I work, paycheck basically goes to Uncle Sam with taxes at all. Second half of the year I actually get to keep the money. Great stuff.

Here is my order sheet. I paid 37600 for mine. Before tax and fees. It has KDSS And paint protection film and stainless exhaust tip.....To the guy who paid 35 ....I call bull unless I see proof...

as a reference I paid 900 more then the poster above, essentially same options. Midwest dealer, ordered from factory. I don't think your price is bad.

just got a sr5 premium with 3rd row for 37k otd no tax paid in oregon.

If you can get a trail premium WITH KDSS (or any other extras like paint film...cross bars etc etc) for around 38K DO IT. I find it hard to believe that anyone picked up a trail premium with KDSS for 35K.....maybe I just don't want to admit to myself I could have done better. According to true car....38k is a fair price. Also you need to take people's posts with a grain a salt...that's why I posted up my order sheet.
