Thule MOAB, no idea!

Whats happenin y'all,
I ordered a Thule M.O.A.B for an upcoming trip and am curious what I might need to attach it to my 5th gen limited. The truck has stock rails up top and Thule said it wsa compatable, however i'm still sightly suspicious it wont give without a scrap, any thoughts?? :bash:

it probably uses universal mounts like the yakima loadwarrior or any other type of roof rack. Mounts directly to your stock cross rails.

Just to make sure.. Do you only have the factory side rails, or do you have the crossbars already as well? or does the MOAB come with cross bars? If you don't have either, your installation will come to a quick halt

I have the stock rails ontop, but no cross bars. I was under the impression that the rack came with under-support/cross bars to support the basket

Unless you got some sort of combo package the baskets usually don't come with crossbars.

And if you need crossbars, the Thule and Yakima bars can handle weights closer to what your rails can handle. The stock toyota bars are not rated for as high a weight, and cost more. Of course, they look like they were made by the people who made the vehicle too.
