Thumping noise under front driver side

Hey guys, I'm new to this site.
I own a 96 4runner limited edition.
I've been very satisfy with my 4runner until it started to see it's age.

For the past months, it's been a rough ride.
Very bumpy and it's making all kinds of noise. First of all, I had the shocks(struts)
replaced a year ago and now it feels like
it needs new one again. I just can't figure out what's causing it to go out so fast. And second, whenever I hit the gas, or make a left and right turn, I can hear a thump under the front driver side.

I was searching and read that it might be the sway bay linkage. I'd checked my sway bar linkage and it's still good. What else could it be?

Please help.

Thanks for the link. The bushing rides on top of the linkage. The bushing are still good. I had the right side broke off on me and I had to replace it. I didn't hear any thump noise when the right side broke off.

Yes, I had an issue with the right side.
It was an easy fix but like I stated, I didn't hear any thumps when the right side went out.
