great find. welcome to the forum. it's true what eric says, once the bug bites... it's over.
when i got my truck (about 8 months ago), i only wanted bigger tires and a mild lift. then i found these knuckleheads and i'm literally itching from the desire to mod the damned thing. not that i'm complaining.

Haha the story behind my 4Runner is similar to yours with the Sequoia....my parents bought the runner brand new back in 98 and it was our weekend warrior/fishing rig. I always had a love for the truck and I knew that it was what I wanted to drive when I got my license. 13 years later I proudly call it mine and wouldn't give it up for any other truck.

Did someone already do the mirror swap before you bought it?
Mine has that same exact Mirror. It is glued to the windshield and not mounted to the sunroof switch housing.
My has a compass but no temperature. Works great.

Yeah, thats exactly like mine. Compass, no temp. My temp is in my climate control.

Alright guys, enough mirror talk. Im pretty sure that is not the most important thing about the car. So anyways, I just got back from Colorado Springs. I was training at the Olympic Training Center. Also did a little wheeling! It was pretty cool. No pics though. At least not right now.
Today I met up with TacticalSR5 aka Zane. We did a little wheeling and mudding. He showed me some tips. :thumb3: I feel like such a noob, or as he called it "noob mudding". Had a great time. I will post pics of the mess tomorrow when its light outside. We went to a couple spots and messed around.
Tried a little stock flex.
Here are some shots of our cars.

All in all, a good day. More pics tomorrow!

Haha man I looked at that truck at thoroughbred motors! I'm in Norman, I bought one almost identical to yours the other day. Check out my build thread. Hit me up if you wanna go wheeling sometime. I'm OUT on mud though, I hate it, haha.
