You're aware they just rescued a (unlocked) 2wd Tacoma from the bottom of Miller last Sunday right? Took a front/rear locked LT rig to drag him back out after they were given bad advice on the trail. That trail is a double black diamond. Not trying to burst any bubbles, but just thought you should know before heading that way. There are no bypasses.

A 4x4 crew had a ride there on Saturday and I was interested in participating, but I was told my stock TRD Pro with sliders would probably suffer damage and suggested against it.
Watched some videos online and certain areas look pretty intimidating. Not that I wouldn't mind trying, but don't want to be the guy everyone has to babysit.

There's a group from TW that does it pretty regularly and none of them have sustained damage. I know one guy did it in his stock 1st gen the first time and made it through without even hitting his skids. It's just a matter of picking the correct lines.

Define rescue. I have gone about 1/4 of the way down this stock/no armor. Before Turing around because I was going to wrong way on the trail. It's really a game of picking the right lines on this trail isn't it?

A front and rear locked 4wd LT Tacoma had a hard time getting him back up the lockwood side. Took them hours to get the 2wd Tacoma out.

Not hard for a 4wd rig. Miah learned first hand how hard a "jeep" trail can be when we did Red Heep Canyon and he had to be towed up multiple hills because it was steep and loose. MJT is far more rocky and slow technical than what we were doing.
Just trying to save him the headache and letting him know recent events with the 2wd Tacoma that had to be saved recently.

I've never actually run it, but I've seen a lot of the pics from the guys that run it regularly. Everything I've read and heard says 4wd required. Trust me I've seen Miah make it up some stuff without help and he's a bloody amazing driver, but some trails just require 4wd and I'm pretty sure this is one of them, haha.

No babysitters are required ...I will get you through it with no problems if you have the itch and the will to try then I will spot you the way through at every section. As long as you can trust me and pay attention/ listen to my signals.
It should make for some good times ...
