The original rad in our 1990 4runner has finally gotten to the point where it was time for replacement. I could easily have gotten fixed at a rad shop, but decided to just get a new factory Toyota unit instead.
The old rad was cooling fine, never over heated at all, but just started leaking. Might get the old one fixed and keep it as an extra. Parts seem to be getting harder to find for these old trucks and the after market stuff(nissins, etc) are absolute trash.
Since the trans lines need to be disconnected, I'll change out the trans fluid as well.
New rad installed. 4runner seems to be running a tade cooler on the temp gauge.
