Time for a timing belt replacement

Check your fuel trims with a decent OBD-II scanner. If they are <5%, you probably don't need to mess with the injectors. Otherwise, RC Injection is local to us - just send them in.

My 3s-gte Camry needed some work on the injectors... but that car sits more than it should and so the injectors can get gummed up.

Good idea, but I didn't want to pull, send and wait lol

I think sitting has ruined more cars than running ever did. They have to get exercised.

Im a believer I keeping the tank full to when parked for very long. It’s crazy how much condensation accumulates inside fuel tanks.

Yeah I would get those injectors re-built or replaced if you're already there. My 4Runner with 230k is still misfiring on cylinder #5 and its the injector which starts working after a couple mins of running. Also planning to rebuild all 6 at once. Just remember there are also crush washers and o-rings you will have to replace too.

The MWP kit corns with everything needed to install right out of the box. I believe Witcher includes everything in their rebuild package, too.

MWP sells a refurb kit with o-rings and washers as a standalone.

I put motorwest performance injectors in while I did my valve gasket and timing belt, smoothed out my idle a lot, and I don’t really have anything wrong with it to begin with, it’s just overall smoother to drive so if the extra $250 isn’t a big deal I’d definitely recommend it.

I’ve also had injectors rebuilt by RC fuel injection for my BMW, and while they did a good job the O rings leaked on a couple of them. I don’t hold that against them because e46s are notorious for not liking anything but oem injector O rings
