time for rear shocks...AGAIN

trying to find a shock for 3inches of lift since I broke one in half yesterday. to make it worse, need to drive 3 counties away tomorrow so they need to be something that can get at a "normal" parts supplier.

on my old broncos I was able to look up the shocks by dimension and just walk in and say I need XYZ part number shock instead of asking for lifted parts and getting a pimple faced kid staring slack jawed blankly back at me.

Go with the 1995 FJZ80 shocks. They are super cheap and will give you about 3-4 inches more travel than stock shocks

This. Couldn't agree anymore! OEM LC80 Tokicos, p/n 48531-69417, lower shock mount bolts p/n 91619-G1222. You'll need to get the washers for the top mounts as well, p/n 90948-02144

quick and simple used some upper bushings and washers I had in tool box thanks guys!!

Yup LC80 tokicos are great. Can't find any better bang for your buck if you are fine with something pretty basic. They ride just fine on the street and are good enough for slow offroad as well.

Yes they will. I’m running 890s with extended swaybar links. Even with the truck on 2 wheels they are nowhere close to coming out. I do have the stock “cones” still in the springs too

As welfare wagon has pointed out, they seem to fit with 890's. I don't have personal experience with those springs, only LC80's and OME 861's.
