timing belt and waterpump

just bought a 2004 sr5 4wd v6 today...got the dealership to do some repairs befort i bought it. i asked them to do the timing belt and waterpump. i have heard it needs changed after 90k. i have 97k on mine. do i need to have this done and if so, any idea on the cost?? this is my first 4runner and forum so i hope im doing this correct. thanks for any advice....Dave

You do not have a timing belt. The V6 is a chain motor and does not need servicing. The water pump only needs to be changed if the bearing goes and it's noisy,or it's leaking coolant.
