I'd do it, too, but no need to panic. They very rarely fail on their own, even at miles higher than yours. A seized water pump or idler, failed tensioner or coolant leak is what kills them. So take your time, then do all of the above so as to have a baseline and peace of mind. It's non-interference, so worst case is getting stuck by the side of the road. Higher priority if you like to wheel out beyond where Judas lost his boots (colorful Brazilian saying).
