timing belt ebay kit???

DO NOT GET THE KOYO IDLER PULLEY! unless you want to replace your belt in the next thousand miles.

I bought this kit a year ago and it came with the koyo, almost 1CM of belt overlap once installed

NSK on the left Koyo on the right-

Here is the koyo roller installed

As you can see theres a ton of belt not covered by the roller, this would lead to fraying or even breaking of the belt.
NSK or nothing, youve been warned!

Good to know. Thanks for posting it.

Jeez, I guess that Koyo got their foot in the door to sell their stuff exclusively with the Aisin TB kit.

I wonder who has installed the Koyo idler and been fine with it?

Idler puller and idler roller is the same thing?

The only thing on that kit that is KSK is the Idler roller.

Thanks.

Yes. That IS a pulley. A roller is just a pulley without a groove or flange but it is still a pulley as long as it changes the direction of a belt, rope, cable, etc.

This is my favorite: 5vz-fe timing belt

One thing that nobody explains, if you are changing the hydraulic tensioner, then the BluePoint tool is useless as you have to take the A/C compressor off to get the tensioner out. The new one is already compressed so there is nothing for that tool to do. It only works if you reuse the old tensioner.

It's been a long time since you posted this link.... it's non existent now.

Is there another link you know of?
