This is embarrassing to post but I'm at a loss.
I was finishing up the timing belt job when I realized I forgot to put on the 3rd timing cover which is the smallest one. I had to take off the generator, alternator, and then serpentine tensioner to instal it. I would greatly appreciate someone going to their v8 and telling what is holding on the top part of the cover, a stud or a bolt. I have a stud there but I'm thinking I got it mixed up as I think a bolt should be there. If it is in fact a bolt there, I'm left over with a stud that I'm sure has a home but not sure where. I thought the only studs were the two on the water pump but I checked and had those two there and cant remember where a third came off. (This is what I get for taking the engine apart 4 days before parts arrive..):ybrick:
