I would have no regrets using the aircabman kits or even Amazon or Aisin kits. Even with good dealer pricing the cost of a kit on Ebay is the best price to be found.
Timing belt/water pump kit or piece together?

I went with the equivalent of the kit in the first post. The parts are purportedly made by the same suppliers as Toyota uses. They are likely just as good, they just don't have Toyota part numbers on them (some did). All the parts appeared top-notch. I didn't bother to replace the seals, since they weren't leaking. In hindsight, I wish I had. I prefer genuine oem seals in locations that are difficult to access.
There is the question of quality control if the parts haven't gone through the Toyota supply chain. It's a $50 - $300 gamble. I bought two antenna masts from ebay that looked identical to the Toyota oem. Both broke within days. I went to the dealer and that mast worked flawlessly. Perhaps the ebay masts were from lots rejected by Toyota?

in regards to the parts being real toyota parts. as I mentioned, I have purchased the aircabinman OE kit twice. once for both my trucks. (ironically I bought the $285 kit and the $303 kit). as far as that kit is concerned it is all exactly as stated in the ad. all the parts are in vacuum sealed bags/boxes with legit toyota/OE part# stickers and the belt itself has toyota printed right on it.
If it was any other way I certainly wouldn't put my word on the line. I have no idea who aircabinman is, but I can tell you 2 of his 99.9% votes came from me.
I too tried to piece a kit together using yotashop.com/lcengineering.com/villagetoyotaparts.com etc. It alway came out significantly more that way.
I'm not saying his is the only kit to buy, i'm saying his OE-kit is known and verified as reliable and well-priced.

No idlers nor tensioner nor t-stat in that kit. There are better ones out there on Fleabay.

Good - used the aircabinman kit myself (~$300). Your kit does not include the hydraulic tensioner but I replaced mine at 187,000 mi and it still was fine. Got equivalent drive belts elsewhere for less $$ so didn't include them. I didn't use the camshaft/crankshaft seals that came with the kit as they all looked good when I got in there - left well enough alone.....I also replaced U/L radiator hoses but, again, can be had elsewhere cheaper.

Everything in there is fine--aircabinman is the gold standard for eBay timing kits. I agree with post above on hoses, and you will want to do aux. drive belts (Bando or OE) as well if mileage calls for it. The same seller has kits with those parts, too.

Sorry to bump a year-old thread but I figured better that than start a new one on the exact same subject. 
I just bought the aircabinman kit for my '01. I have 202k on it and have never done anything with the water pump/ timing belts/ pulleys etc... The PO had the belt done at 62K but I have no idea what else was replaced. Just curious what else I'll need to buy to get this done. I run a body shop so I have tools, a lift, access to Alldata and such. I understand I'll need this tool...

But is there anything else I should know before getting into this? I'm ordering a couple gallons of new Toyota coolant to refill afterwards. I noticed someone mentioned I may need to replace other idlers/ pulleys that don't come with the aircabinman kit? Any help is appreciated. We do mostly body work here but basic mechanical stuff is common too.

In researching all that needs to be done recently and asking similar questions to yours, I have decided to get both idlers and the tensioner done at the same time.
For me, I am having it done at the dealer and they aren't charging any extra labor so I might as well get it done while they are in there. You might take a similar approach in that you don't want to have to pull the whole front part of the engine more than necessary.

Which kit did you get? He has some that are more complete. You should do the tension idler and center idler and hydraulic tensioner at 202k. If you do the tensioner, you don't need the Schley tool.
If they haven't been done, all three aux. drive belts are a good idea. Other options are rad hoses, thermostat, and cam and crank seals. Two schools on seals, some say do them, some say leave them alone if they are not leaking. At 120k when I did mine, I bought them but didn't install them as they looked fine. Rad hoses you can look at, these Toyota hoses seem to last forever. Thermostat is good PM at 202k, if original.
The only other special tool you need is a crank pulley holder. You can buy or make. And a torque wrench good for 217 ft.-lbs.

I'm assuming I can rent a crank pulley holder from Autozone. I have two Snap-On torque wrenches so I'm good there. I'm looking to do this job within the next two weeks. My water pump has been singing like a bastid for quite some time now. I'm lucky it hasn't left me stranded already.

I'd replace the radiator with a genuine Koyo while you're at it.

12/23/2010 I replaced the radiator with an aftermarket one, and installed an aux tranny cooler from D&E performance. Never had any signs of pink milkshake but I decided to do that mod before it inevitably happened. Sure enough, when I took the tranny hoses off the original radiator the fittings came right off in my hand.
ETA: Still have a pic in photobucket!...
