Hey guys, i have a few questions about a 22r im working on. Doing a headgasket, engine was running fine just steaming a little bit so i decided to catch it early before it really let go. Tore it all down new headgsket, gasketsect.. went to fire it up and no fire but i could tell by the way it was turning over it was way out of time, almost sounded like a valve hit a piston
yea, it sounded way out. I was tdc at the crank and the cam lobe was 12:00 but the marks on the cam gear were a little to the left wich to me didnt seem right, Am i supposed to line up the marks on the cam gear or the loab on the cam? Any help would be greatly appreciated as im stumped on this one :thanks:
