timmy the communist

I guess you can call me old school, or boring. Im in my 30's. Last social media platform I joined was MySpace. Even then I only logged on maybe once a month. During high school I was on AOL/ Yahoo messenger alot. I had an Xanga page. Shoot, i even had a Findapix profile! The real reason why I didn't want a social media platform anymore, I didn't want people to find me. I didn't care what anyone was into, what they ate for dinner, or who's dating who, and didnt want to show my business to the world either. I still have the same cell phone number 25 years running. If my family or friends need me, they know how to reach me. I've been doing fine without the new platforms, though I do wish i could interact FB classifieds without signing up.

Car forums were different for me. I was real active on Rx7club until I started a family. Now I'm on t4r occasionally, learning new things or browsing classifieds.

Edit: I lied, I do have a LinkedIn profile. Haha.

Wise man... Indeed.. I started playing in IT in the mid 80s as a kid. :D Computers without hard drives and the 5.25 inch floppy...:jaw:
Though in that time it was mostly playing the games..;-) Those were the days...:D

I remember back in the 40s we used to build our own computers out of rocks and a variety of animal droppings, that was before they invented sunlight so we had to illuminate the screens with a slight glow generated by eating small amounts of uranium.

We used to play games for hours on those things until mom would call us down for a dinner of paint chips and asbestos
