Hey Dudes and Dudettes,

I wanted to share with Y'all a milestone [MENTION=102606]infamousRNR[/MENTION] and I just hit last night. After 2 1/2 years and around 90 videos, we have attracted 10k subscribers to our channel and we know a decent percentage of that 10k is coming from members of this forum.

It's been an interesting ride so far. Running a YouTube channel is a lot of work but it's very rewarding knowing all the people we've been able to help out. It can also be very challenging and frustrating too, no doubt.

Congratulations Timmy,Its because of your videos my rig doesn’t look like it’s on fire when I parked because of my leaky valve covers and a bunch of other repairs I wouldn’t have done[emoji848][emoji1303]

The driver's door lock on my 98 is getting lazy and doesn't always unlock all the way. I can see us doing the door lock motor swap sometime in the near future.

I don't know about reupholstering seats but that does sound like something Sean might be into though.

They get ridden all the time. You should come visit and we'll do a cruiser ride to Los Gatos, get some beers and perv on all the hot MILFS walking around.

Off topic Tim, but did you ever figure out Greg’s misfire?

This forum, and your videos were a consideration in me choosing a 3rd gen.

While I can think of several potential How-to videos to ponder, one that you seemingly missed, and probably by design, is the routine oil change.

For most on this forum that is no not needed of course, but there are likely many out there who need or would prefer such a tutorial. And for those who have never turned a wrench before, or haven't in a long time, this would a good starting point for such folks...

Along those same lines, a short video on jacking-up the front and rear, noting the jack points, placement of jack stands, related considerations and safety precautions like chocking tires. The benefit of having such a video not only highlights the importance of this pre-work and safety, but you can reference this foundational video in subsequent DIYs without feeling the need to explain what you did each time....

While I'd like to see a video on the removal and/or installation of the sun/moonroof, I realize that there is probably little demand for such. The two I mentioned though are low-hanging fruit in that they can be done with ease anytime and would have broad appeal...

I haven't gotten Greg back over my place yet. There have been two other guys that mentioned the upstream O2 or Air/Fuel Sensor as a possible cause. One guy with an 03 Tacoma said that was his fix. With the way I'm wired, I think I want to figure it out more than Greg does though. He's been dealing with this misfire for over a year. Anyway, I'm hoping I can get him back over to try a few more things.

Thank you for your channel. You and the team take the time to go over the in's and outs of doing the job right. Including Torque specs etc... Your channel has been a great resource for learning how to work on Toyotas.

Hey Tony,

We do have a 30,000 mile service video that covers changing all the fluids on our rigs.

The video about jack points and how to safely support the vehicle would be a good one to make for beginning DIY mechanics.

This is definitely one of the cool things about running a YouTube channel. I've talked with people all over the world about their rigs, Mexico, Brazil, Poland, Norway, Australia, Canada and others I'm not remembering.
 
Thank you and good to see that you’re on this forum! I just subscribed to your channel last week while doing research on the 3rd gens. I picked up a 2001 SR5 4WD, and will be referencing your video for repairs and mods. I picked up my car not far from where you are, in Campbell. I live in Fresno.
