While I agree that the risk is negligible regarding the tint, if you look at the letter of the law, a police officer can pull you over & issue a summons/citation for anything illegal in that jurisdiction.
All that said, if you keep the tint within reason & don't go limo black on all windows, you should be safe across the board.
