tire pressure

I'm running 35x12.5x15's and I have my tires at 35psi. 35 PSI is actually what's stamped on the plate on the drivers side door jam.

I am running procomp at, 33x12.5 and the tire says max psi of 55, I'm at about 50.

That's the max the tire can handle, in no way a reccomendation of what you should use (waay too much).

You should use the pressure on the door jamb plate. Tire size makes no difference.

I am running 33x12.50 on a 15x10 **** cepeck rim. What should my tires be inflated to for daily driving.

Officially, you should consult the door sticker OE size, type, and psi information to establish stock tire load capacity (from a load/inflation table), and then fill the new tires to a psi that achieves the same (or more) load capacity.

Assuming (via web) a door sticker stock tire size of P225/75/15 or 31x10.5/15LT at 35psi, you'd probably find, if you did the above, that you'd get a pressure for the 33x12.5/15LT of around 25psi. That being said, more load reserve is generally better and safer so I'd suggest about 32psi and then, if you want, make small adjustments up or down based on ride and handling preference or how they wear (but not above the 35max psi).

Btw, tire size makes a big difference in tire load carrying capacity which is why your pressure could go down with the bigger tire. That might seem to be contradicted by the two very different stock tire size options, above, spec'd at the same or similar pressures, but the reason is that LT tires have significantly less load capacity than Ps at the same psi, and it takes the larger 31x10.5/15LT to match the smaller P225/75/15 in load capacity.

Over inflating your tires can have some rather interesting results. The real trick to tire pressure would be checking it often. I try to keep mine at 32. However, the rather rough driving I do off road knocks the air out of them. Most cars on the road today have under-inflated tires because the operators never check the tire pressure before leaving the garage.
