I have searched forum and looking for more specific opinions on new tire for SR5. Living in northnern WI with 75% of driving on pavement (allmost every road is paved here) with other 25% on fire lanes/logging roads with some hills. Looking at new tires with preference for snow with some deep, off road and on pavement ride quality. Have read all reviews and deciding on the GY Duratrac or Michelin LTX AT2? Any comments on which would be better for my driving conditions or other suggestions?

Between the two, GY for sure. The at2 is a good tire but it does not hold up well in the dirt at all. I've tested both of those tires( my job can be fun sometimes) the Goodyear held up well and still had plenty on off and on road performance. The at2 did ok on dirt, very well on the street, but after just a few miles of abuse they were VERY chunked up, would only recommend that tire if it very rarely sees dirt...one guys opinion

Check out the cooper A/T3. I just got them and I'm impressed with them so far. There is also a rebate on them if you purchase them by the 15th.

I like GY Duratracs but I couldnt recommend them to someone that drives 75% or more on pavement. Of th e2 I would go Michellin but I would say look into Cooper AT3 or even a Nitto TG

can help you there brother. I live in Florida... only snow we see is what hookers snort up their nose
