Tires - Narrowed it down to these two ...

I need help deciding between Firestone Destinations A/T (again) and BFG Rugged Terrain (not to be confused with the notorious Rugged Trails). These two are in my price range.. barely, so I'm not looking to spend any more.

I currently have the Firestone Destinations and love them, but I wish the tread life was a little better. I think I got a little less than 30k out of them.

I have a 2wd 4runner, so I don't do any crazy off-roading, but a few times a month I do a local 20 mile trail as well as a few others. These are fire roads with some sharp rocky sections, which probably explains the chunks of rubber missing from my Destinations. The BFG's aren't A/T, but a hybrid of sorts. They should probably last longer than the Firestones, right?

The BFG's are $142 at my local shop, the Firestones are $162 on TireRack (I'd have to pay for shipping too). I believe the BFG's have a rebate as well. Any advice?

Im running the BFG rugged terrains on a first gen in North Florida. Now ive often compared driving in soft sugar sand to driving in snow and these tires are amazing at the soft sand without airing down below 35psi. road noise isnt bad with proper balance and alignment either.
