Hi
I've got a 2001 SR5, stock - no lift or anything.
I bought the car with 265/75/16 size tires. Is that the max on size tire that i can go without having issues? I know that this is not the OEM size.
Would a 285 fit? Or what else ha you guys tried?
Thank you

Thats the max you can go without some work needing to be done.

Why the need to go bigger? IMO, any bigger that the 265/75 looks silly on stock size.

I don't know I really like my split spoke with the 285s. I have the toytech 3" and 1.5" trail gear spacers. Only minor rubbing that I'm slowly trimming/fixing.

I run the same size on my stock 96 soft worn out suspension. (250K and leaking) I can not fit a set of snow chains (real chains not cable or cheap ass quick fit) without hitting on back. I can put on the front but they will hit if I spin them or turn it to lock or close. If my snake oil fix works...maybe I can finally put on some new shocks/struts/springs.
