Dude you are stoked! Congrats! I just got into a '13 trail edition in the shoreline blue a couple weeks ago, and I honestly didn't even know what a trail edition was when I bought it. All I knew was that I loved the color and it was a 4x4!:cheers:

Was reading about the break-in procedures (I know there is still a lot of debate regarding this), but the manual specifically mentions avoiding "constant speeds for extended periods of time."

Now I drove the car from AZ to CA and used cruise control for good long stretches keeping the speed mainly 60-65 mph. Anything to worry about?

Most likely nothing to worry about. Most people don't even know about break in procedures anymore. Most sales people don't do any walk through of break in procedures during delivery - I had to walk my salesman through them. Anyway, point being that most people don't and they are just fine. I would be more concerned if you were bouncing it off the Rev limiter for miles at a time. Congrats on the new ride.

So what is the potential for resale on the rarer colors? I think they are probably rare because less people like them.
I ask because there is a Nautical Blue SR5P in stock near me. Though I wanted a TEP, the SR5P is a close second. I hadn't considered blue until reading this thread (though I did want a Shoreline blue Trail a couple of years ago).

Hilarious. I just did the same exact thing. Drove 1,200 miles round trip to an out of state dealer to trade in my 2006 SR5 for a 2015 Trail Premium w/ KDSS in Nautical Blue. The color is even better in person, ain't it? Congrats on the awesome new rig. :nicethread:
