Here's my suggestion if you want to use a socket: Cut that stud off with a dremel.

This is the route I'm likely taking when the weather clears up a bit to do my UBJ's later this month.
I reallllly don't feel like taking the whole arm off my car and using a vise, so hopefully I can manage the "do in the fender well" method others have posted.

I pressed mine in with a 3/4" socket, a random piece of steel from an IKEA headboard, and a WWII surplus Army truck vise my old man brought home (stole) in 1946 from a closing Fort McClellan..

I needed some extra leverage so I used a fence pole driver:

That gray thing is the IKEA piece.

Worked fine.

here is my setup. takes 30 mins per side

I'm with you on this.

Took me around 2 around to remove both uppers, install slugs, and new UCA's.
