Torn between bumpers

I voted for tube because the plate make the 4th gen look like a rhino, very substantial but front heavy IMHO. I also recommend Scotty/Addicted because I know numerous people running his bumpers and they look great!

I would add CBI to your list too!

I am heading down there today for them to let them start fabing up there Moab 1 bumper from there Taco line to fit out 3rd gens. pic will fallow sometime by the weeks end hopefully.

there also planning on sliders too.

I was really close to getting the Addicted off road. Right before I got it Outdoorlogic came out with there's and it was a group buy. Personally I like plate a little better and for the group buy price and the fact they had them ready to ship it was an easy decision.

I like shrockworks, but the wait kills me. I would hate to give someone money and then have to wait 4-6 weeks for my product.

So it's up to what you want not the internet. If it was me though, tube - Addicted. Plate - Outdoor Logic

well as for CBI I am the tester rig so they can fab them up and ship. so once they get mine done they will be able to have it down.

I can't speak for them, but you will have to do some welding and such.

there are working on it as I type this. I am sitting in there office occasionally taking pics as my rig is being worked on.

maybe a GROUP BUY might be an option. (more to come on that)

I would definitely be interested in a group buy! I had actually considered taking my rig up to them but it's a 24hr drive for me each way. Let us know what they say once they've got yours done.

4-6 weeks would be a dream....hahaha try 3 months! Awesome product but the wait is killing me!

I gotta go with tube myself. Scotty and Big John from Addicted Offroad are great guys. Best service I've had since I started my build. The bumper itself is great and I wouldn't trade it for a plate of any kind. I like both plate and tube but when it came down to it I just liked the idea of having a fully tubed rig, front/rear bumpers and sliders. As for strength, I haven't run into anything yet but I know the cross member is golden, I've winched myself out of some pretty nasty holes. That was my deal breaker, the fact that I can get a bumper and winch combo for less than a plate bumper.

FWIW, we now offer LED turn signals for every bumper as well as light tabs. You can fix the fast blinker with a very simple $9 replacement relay as well. Its specifically designed for running LEDs as well.

We also redesigned the mounting crossmember to make it VERY easy to install.
