TOTAL CHAOS - Chromoly Adjustable Rear Links

[TOTAL CHAOS]

Novice mechanics question- The shop that installed my set of these didn't do the modification to the bracket on the lowers so I can get at the zirc fitting. So I'm going to need to drop the arm to grease it and then modify the bracket per the install instructions. What is the "Safe" and easy way to do this before I attempt to pull the bolt out? Pull the tire and put the axle or the frame on a jack stand? I don't need the axle shifting making it really hard to get the bolt back in.

Sorry we never got back to you.

A ratchet strap/ tie down from the rear axle to the frame will help prevent shifting

Hope you already got it taken care of
