Total Solar Eclipse 2017

I'm in Nor Cal, but I'll be road tripping up to Bend/Portland to watch the eclipse. Good luck to anyone trying to find hotels or camp sites in the area, if you find ANYTHING open you'll still be paying a fortune for it!

I will be watching the news to see how bad the traffic gets though, it'll probably be more entertaining! :wave:

We had NASA, and 3 different launch teams with weather balloons here on the Austin Peay Environmental Education Center yesterday.

Talk about a once in a lifetime thing!


Some very interesting agricultural/studies: it freaked the bees out. They all came swarming back to the hives at once and tried to get inside all at once, like they had been caught unawares when the totality hit.

Ditto. It was a pretty cool phenomenon, but not worth the hassle that I was seeing with this one.
