Touch screen issue

The touch screen on my 2010 4 Runner's dashboard stopped working. I can get the map, radio, and anything from the buttons, but my touchscreen suddenly quit working. Anyone else had this problem?
Yes, likely the screen digitizer is at fault- either shorted out or its connection is broken. There is a method to fix, but could be a goose chase: https://snapguide.com/guides/fix-the-touchscreen-in-a-lexus-is350/. Instead I elected to upgrade my radio and trashed the stock unit. I suppose you could swap out stock units, or find a digitizer replacement shipped from China, but why do that instead of upgrade?
