Toyota cross bars?

I'm getting the crossbars installed today and want to know your guy's thoughts on the toyota bars vs aftermarket, are there better ones or should I just get these?

the thule kayak carriers fit the t4r crossbars, as do some cargo roof systems. i've found many of the thule bike carriers only fit the standard square bars or thule's new aerodynamic bars, but if you ride a lot i would recommend getting a hitch mount rack instead.

any after market crossbar will make more noise and stick out more, but you'll have more options for accessories.

I went with the Thule bars over the factory as I heard there were issues with ski/luggage boxes fitting properly on the factory ones. The factory bars are lower profile and cheaper, but less useful and I believe they carry less weight as well.

mine didnt come with bars. clean look though I wouldnt mind having them just in case. Do the factory bars create win noise?

I didn't notice any wind noise with the factory cross bars. I see you are in the bay area. I just took my rack off to make room for a Gobi and would be willing to sell my Cross bars. Let me know. PM me.
