Toyota Online Parts-Where do you shop?

So, aside from hit or miss shopping for genuine OEM Toyota parts, where do you get your parts from? I've searched this forum and only saw a few very old and/or unanswered threads from parts dealers (toyotapartsexpress).

I know to stay away from Amazon/eBay etc due to counterfeit parts and the dealers aren't exactly the best place due to grumpy employees and overcharging.

Anyplace that has decent prices and/or free shipping?

Thanks for the suggestions. Looks like out of luck trying to save money over going to the dealerships. The shipping really kills it.

Just an FYI, some dealerships will match those online prices, it's worth a shot asking them if they will match them!

probably true if it is a local competitor. my online dealer is in tax free nh, but i have a dealer nearby to me (nh one is an easy 20 mile drive). the local will price match, plus tax. if distant competitor, they would undoubtably add the shipping cost to the discounted price.
 
My source is Cobb County Toyota here in metro Atlanta. I pick up my parts but they offer free shipping for orders of $75+ and their prices make OEM a choice vs. aftermarket on just about everything I buy.

also check out of country-side e-commerce websites, like alibaba china , ebay europe or etsy canada, sometimes they can provide promotions. like end of year sales... etc.

I order online from a nearby (4 miles away) dealer and pick up in person. Before that dealer started to sell online discount parts, I used another dealer that's 20 miles away.
 
I'm a fan of toyota parts deal. I can't remember if their site offers free shipping, but their prices seem generally lower than ordering from other places. I've had a good experience with them. I ordered some new rear shocks and the price was hard to beat compared to other places.

I’ve tried numerous times on that site with little success. I tried finding normal maintenance items and some showed part no longer available and no superseding part # or not at all??? Just a frustrating process for me.

Yes, filters, coolant oil etc. I already went to a local dealership and got what I needed, but IIRC the air filter was no go on this site. The cabin air filter was a no go on another site. Frustrating.

I see that the filters say their discontinued. Not sure what's up with that. Maybe they're out of stock through that website. I usually buy them in person though, or buy aftermarket filters. If I can find another source I'll be sure to let you know though.
 
I have good luck with the following:

Toyotaparts.bochtoyotasouth.com


Their prices are some of the lowest that I could find. I did have to follow up with my order status a few times but otherwise they were great. McGeorge had good prices too, but I did not order with them but would not hesitate to try them next time.

You do have to plan ahead to take advantage of online prices irregardless of the shipping speed you choose as it takes time for them to process the order itself.
