Hello everyone, not sure if it's a news but mine is latest version 8.20.019 and I can confirm it works on win7 64bits, the setup it's totally different from what I read on forums, this is screenshot with installer: http://imageshack.us/a/img534/2572/8szr.png
and I bought on ebay from a romanian seller as it was close to my country.
it doesn't give the error like I saw for others when clicking on Setup -> Check for updates, it reports back that I do have latest version so I assume it's not modified someway to give me that impression

Do you have a download link to v8.20.019, or can you upload yours somewhere? If this has the correct W7-64 drivers then it would seem to streamline the installation for all involved...

I've been searching for it online.... found a couple forums that might have it listed. I'll post back if I get something. Definitely would be much easier with a Windows 7 compatible version!

lol thanks.... I already use Drive for personal/business stuff, but I need to create just a link to the file that someone else can follow to DL. I'd also prefer it not attached to my email address for obvious reasons.
I created a torrent (and am currently seeding), but I can't even post the file here.... unless I try the old add .txt trick (not sure what the forum rules are though)

Sorta...but no. I'm tracking those options. I'm wondering if there is a deeper dive list of features. I saw a screen shot around page 3 or 4 that spoke to VSC and those type of systems. Wondering what options are available to adjust driveability.

None that I have seen. Everything besides the normal "dealer programmable" options are informational or test/reset procedures.

Finally got the cable last night. its running on my mac with parallels desktop windows 7 32bit. Im out on my lunch break, fiddling around with the software :hungry:

I can run the software, but still can't get the cable to connect. How did you connect to the vehicle using a 64 bit machine? So frustrating. I was hoping to run native on 64 bit. Can anybody else confirm 8.20.019 on a 64 bit OS?
Edit - ended up installing a VM to WinXP.

Geez, I'm beyond frustrated with this. I've installed the software 8.20.019, installed the VCI driver and got the red light. When I click connect to vehicle, I can't get past the registration key. What am I doing wrong? I have 3 codes, and none of them work. HELP!!! I should say that I'm running XP through a virtual session.
