Toytec Boss Front Suspension Noise

I swear I looked to see if this was a re-post as long as my limited patience would allow me to :ballchain:

The short question is: Has anyone experienced a loud "bottoming out" noise with their front Boss setup?

The more detailed informational part of the question:

2013 TE w/KDSS
285/70/17 Duratracs
Light Racing UCA's
Body Mount Chop
All work by Hi Country 4x4 in Denver
Originally Toytec Ultimate lift.
After 11,000 miles, 1 year 3 months, and about 6 light off road runs, the left front Bilstein shock went (The bottom dampener went so it was slamming down) and the right one seemed like it was going. No support from Toytec. I make the decision to upgrade to the Boss coilovers. No Change in the rear setup.
Immediately from installation the front shocks make a loud noise. It seems to me as if the shocks are again "slamming" down at the end of the travel. I had Hi Country check everything and they said it was "all tightened to the specified tolerances". In low speed situations the sound occurs when the wheel "falls" towards the end of the suspension travel. Driving over a speed bump can cause this. Yesterday I was running a light trail, the lower section of the Geneva Creek Trail if you are familiar with Colorado. Probably rated a 3. Lots of rocks and situations where the suspension would "fall".
There is something not right somewhere in the suspension, it is much louder than the original Bilstein shocks on the Ultimate lift were before they failed. It sounds like it might be metal on metal but I can find no scrapes or dings anywhere. I have an appointment to have my dealer look at it but I don't expect much from that. Any Ideas?

You should just stop by ToyTec...their in Thornton and see if they have ideas/suggestions!

Doesn't sound like something was installed right. Issues from the git-go...:(
 
just a idea, I had a popping sound from my front end too. Thought it was the suspension, turned out to be the front body mounts, the ones IN FRONT of the wheels, tightened them down a little, gone. just mentioning it because I thought it was my coils too, and wasted a week tinkering to find it.
 
I've noticed ametal on metal thunk recently when going over a certain low speed bump on my morning commute. I've tried replicating it on other bumps but don't hear it. I'm at a lost if it's my Boss setup or what.

Where exactly would these be? Sorry I am a bit green on maintenance.

This is exactly how I felt. I tried to replicate it for my shop guys but hard a hard time making it noticeable to them. Off road there was no mistaking something is wrong

I don't see anything that looks like that spacer. Is that spacer something that's specific to the Boss kit? I thought the only difference was the shock itself?

I highly doubt that you have it unless you bought your suspension recently. it didn't come with my kit and mine was purchased last year. toytec sells it for $69.99

im not talking about that spacer who ever it was posted up, that's for the rear, and you don't have one. im talking about the front factory body mount that mounts your truck to the frame.

In front of front wheel.
beside fender liner.
black mount with a bolt sticking out the bottom.

I believe I see what you mean and there is nothing that is obviously a spacer. Would the spacer be at the top or the bottom of the rubber stack?

I upgraded to the boss front suspension about 3 months ago. Is that recent enough?
 
STOP THINKING ABOUT SPACERS. Tighten the factory body mount up and see if it helps. Yes it was never touched during your lift, but might have came loose during going off road. that was my problem.
