Toytec boss lift help

Hey guys, I just recieved my Toytec boss lift. I got the boss coilovers with 891ome's. They also sent me the fox rear shoxs because the bilsteins weren't available. The parts number is 980-24-675. I got the diff drop as well but basically my question is about the shoxs as they say for 03-09 4runner and mine is 2000. Just wondering if there still compatible? And if anyone else has experience with this lift... Looking forward to getting it on

Yes, you should be good. Fj cruiser/newer 4runners run same rear shocks. And they bolt right into our 3rd gen.

Because, the bilstein 5100 long travel which toytec calls, are the same 5100 for the fj cruiser. Same part number. The only reason why toytec has two different part numbers is because they change few bushings on the 3rd gen. But forget about that, basically this tells you that rear fj cruiser / 03-09 4runner shocks bolt on our 3rd gen. It's even the same 3/4" eye. Fox is nice company and those shocks aren't that expensive, so basically anyone looking for new rear shocks can look under fj cruiser or newer 4runner.

I also called toytec to ask if the 3rd gen long travel shocks are the same as the fj cruiser. Before the guy even looked it up he told me yes ! Lol

Call toytec though and make sure you don't need extended bump stops with the fox shocks. Takes few mins to get an answer. Just to be safe. Because I know for fact with long trave bilstein 5100 for our 3rd gen. It is highly recommended to run extended bump stops. But not for the fj cruiser. Same shocks just little extra part for us to be safe so we don't blow the shock out. Just make sure that's all.
