I don't have any either. As long as you're not jumping the runner, you don't need extended bumps. That being said, i bought some and I'm tweaking them to maximize my travel

I guess it's normal. I just expected to have a little more travel(compressed). If you take the boot out, there is only like 2 to 3 inches before the shock bottoms out when compressed.
I'm also curious to see your alignment spec. I'm more interested in where your trust angle is sitting at. If can post that alignment print out.

They are made to be standard extended bumpestops but with the extra inch or so of travel the extended billies give out, the bumpstops render that extra inch useless. Might as well use it if you got it.

The problem is if you run a stock wheel/tire size, or close, you'll stuff the wheel fully and the longer compressed length of the bilsteins means you will be bottoming the shock, potentially hard (granted this would be accidental, or you'd have to be doing something stupid).
The late 90's blazer "bee-hive" bumpstops are on my list.

Blazer bump stops are not enough at full compression.

I don't really wheel, so they might be adequate for me, but if you do, definitely look for something better like the Sonoran Steel bumps.
Anyone find any other junkyard stops that provide more than the Blazer's?

are you talking about the actual shock itself bottoming out, or the coil being compressed which makes it look bottomed out??
Superflex springs are a progressive coil, so if your talking about JUST the coil, its supposed to be like that. The top 3 springs or so should be completely compressed on the 4runners own weight. It being a progressive coil is what gives it such a smooth ride, and able to hold weight.
If your talking about your shocks bottoming out....well, you need longer shocks.
