TPMS sensor replacement and reprogramming?

One of my Tpms sensors went bad but I'm unsure which one it is. My tpms light blinks for a minute then stays solid. All tires are at 33psi with no leaks.

What options are there to have my tpms system scanned to determined which one my ecu isn't reading? If I do replace it with a new oem sensor is the dealer my only option to reprogram it?

Since you have onboard air, get the Techstream cable and software, connect it to the OBDII port and drop the tire pressure on each tire 5lbs or so. Watch the techstream and see which sensor doesnt report the change and that should be the bad one. Go to your favorite tire shop, replace sensor and rebalance the tire.

Your local tire shop should be able to scan each TPMS sensor to identify any sensor with a weak battery, takes minutes.

I replaced my sensors as a set when one battery showed up as weak, at the 10 year mark.

Discount Tire has the tool to check which sensor is not working. Given your 4Runner is fairly new, I would just replace one TPMS sensor and reprogram the ECU with the new ID. Discount Tire reprograms the ECU for free in my area. I have the tool so I don't need help. Best wishes.
