ran in to a guy here on base with 2010 sr5 with a lift, his Traction Control light wont go off. everthing looks ok. he said he took it to the dealer and they told him its the lift that was doing it. that dont sound right? any one have this happen to them
the lift alters the suspension geometry throwing some of the sensors out of stock spec. so yes, it is the lift that is causing the problem, however the tech at the stealership is a retard, a zero point calibration will reset the sensors and solve the problem - provided he does not have a damaged ABS sensor wire, which - apparently - is common when doing a lift.
